Infor M3 Manufacturing Consultant – Manufacturing Practice Exam

Preventing changes in the view in PMS230 is effectively achieved by utilizing the corresponding checkbox within the settings. This checkbox allows users to configure the view in a way that restricts modifications, ensuring that the view remains constant and does not change unintentionally. By enabling this setting, users can create a stable working environment tailored to their specific needs and preferences, minimizing errors or unnecessary adjustments that may disrupt workflow.

The other methods mentioned may contribute to managing the view and its accessibility, but they do not specifically address the restriction of changes as effectively as the settings checkbox. For example, saving a view as a template provides a fixed version that can be reused but doesn’t necessarily prevent alterations to that template. Locking a view with a password offers security but may not be applicable in all scenarios or be as user-friendly. Assigning user permissions controls who can access or modify the view but does not inherently stop changes from being made, unlike the direct use of the checkbox in the settings.
